Leto to Return as Joker for Snyder Cut

Ok....so....yeah....this is happening.

Jared Leto, reprising his role as The Joker from the 2016 film Suicide Squad, has signed on to shoot some new scenes for Zack Snyder’s upcoming director’s cut(?) of Justice League.

This is interesting as The Joker did not feature in the theatrical release of Justice League, which Snyder had to abandon due to personal reasons.

After his departure Joss Whedon stepped in and, well....yeah...we got what we got.

WHY DIDN’T WB JUST PAY PARAMOUNT THE MONEY TO LET CAVILL SHAVE HIS MOUSTACHE???

Ahem....sorry.

The oft-requested, and now greenlit ‘Snyder Cut’ was announced earlier in the year and will be coming to HBO Max, who are putting up the funds to finance the additional shooting and completion of unfinished scenes.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League, as it is officially titled, is due to air on the streaming platform in 2021, with a reported running time of 4 hours.

I’m not opposed to Leto returning to the role, nor am I going to have a rant about how good or bad his take on the character was.

Fact of the matter is that he is the Snyder-verse Joker.

He’s just not my Joker. And that’s okay. Each to their own.

But seriously, please tell me Cavill is in for reshoots cos that CGI mess still haunts me!
