Only days after its initial release last year, MGM announced it's animated Addam's Family film would be getting a sequel, scheduled to open Halloween 2021.
The first teaser poster, released earlier this week, features TRG perennial favourite Wednesday Addams (no doubt thanks to Christina Ricci's portrayal in the 90s live action flicks) and her signature sardonic humour.
The original 2019 animated movie featured the voice talents of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, Allison Janney, Elsie Fisher and Snoop Dogg.
It made just over $200 million off of a budget of $24 million.

The Addams Family began life as single panel cartoons in the New Yorker, created by cartoonist Charles Addams in 1938.
They became household names when ABC created 'The Addams Family' TV Series which ran for two seasons beginning in 1964.
In 1991 'The Addams Family' movie was released by Orion Pictures. directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and starring Anjelica Houston, Raul Julia, Christina Ricci and Christopher Lloyd the movie was a box-office hit making almost $200 million off of a $30 million budget, and spawning a sequel,'Addams Family Values', in 1993 by Paramount Pictures who by then had acquired the rights.
